After Copenhagen, London and Paris, Portuguese Jewellery now heads east to participate in Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, September 15-19. Occupying the third position in the world ranking of jewellery imports, Hong Kong is a target country for Portuguese Jewellery and a gateway into the Asian market.
With two fairs a year, Hong Kong has been a growing and consistent bet of Portuguese brands, which have here the opportunity to contact with agents and buyers from all over Asia and the world in general. The Portugal pavilion has gained strength and expression, gaining prominence in the fair and attracting the attention of visitors.
Five Portuguese brands will participate in this edition: Bruno da Rocha, Galeiras, Soarijoia, Marco Cruz Joalheiro and Styliano Jewellery. All brands are already experienced at the fair, with several participations. A strategy of consistency that is reflected in a marked growth in recent years.
To Fátima Santos, from AORP (Portuguese Jewellery and Watchmaking Association), “Hong Kong is a very attractive market, not only because it is a very important trading hub for the jewellery industry, but because it is a gateway to the Asian market, namely China, a country of great potential for Portuguese jewellery.”
