The second largest market for Portuguese exports is one of the main destinations of AORP’s internationalization strategy for 2019.
For the first time, aside the usual participation in Bijorhca Paris, Portuguese jewellery will showcase at Who’s Next, considered to be the leading fashion trade show in Europe.
Sharing the same Exhibition Park in Porte de Versailles, the shows will take place from January 18 to 21 and will welcome a total of seven Portuguese brands. At Who’s Next will be Bruno da Rocha, Sopro Jewellery and Wings of Feeling, while Astorga, Elza Pereira, Innamorata and Tânia Gil are back at one of the most prestigious jewellery events in Europe, Bijorhca Paris.
More than 20 years after its creation, Who’s Next has become the leading international fashion trade show for womenswear in Europe. In January and September, the event welcomes 50,000 visitors through its doors at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in Paris, with around 1500 international ready-to-wear and accessories brands there for them to discover.
Recognized as a showcase of trends, Bijorhca Paris brings together more than 350 brands and 12,000 international buyers. One of the highlights of this edition are the Bijorhca Jewellery Awards, in which three Portuguese designers are in competition.
At the same time, the prestigious Maison & Objet, counts with the participation of Inês Telles and Ourivesaria Tavares, will be present in Paris, in partnership with the Covet Group. This edition will point the spotlight to national design and production, giving a stage to some of the names and brands that are positioning Portugal as reference producer country, at the “Portugal – Eldorado Archi, Design and Craft” Conference.
