World-renowned for its luxurious hotels and casinos, Las Vegas will host the largest jewellery event in North America – JCK – from 3 to 6 June.
AORP, the Portuguese Jewellery and Watchmaking Association, is organizing the participation of five Portuguese brands, that represent the essence and uniqueness of Portuguese Jewellery:
- Inês Rio
- Styliano
- Galeiras Goldsmith
This will be the third participation promoted by AORP at JCK Las Vegas. According to Fátima Santos, General Secretary of the Association, “Las Vegas is undoubtedly a city of spectacle. The events have a huge dimension and unique atmosphere. And our participation is growing year by year and attracting the attention of the visitors. Some of the companies are repeating its presence and this consistency allows stronger relations with the buyers”.
JCK Las Vegas gathers 2,400 exhibitors from around the world, attracting more than 23,000 professional visitors, including about 9,400 retailers.
The United States are currently the main destination for Portuguese exports outside the European Union. Jewellery is one of the sectors with higher growth. Although the amount is still low (2.8 million), it represents an increase of 129% in 2015.
The “land of opportunities” is therefore a privileged destination for Portuguese Jewellery.
